Why I Don’t Believe In New Year’s Resolutions

And Why You Shouldn’t Either

Simply put, be prepared to be defeated.

Yep, it’s that time again, where we all sit down and draft out our New Year’s Resolutions and choose our Word Of The Year!

New Year's resolutions are a tradition that continues to punish us and belittle us when we fail.

New Year, New You!

I hate this term more than anything!

First of all, why do you need a New Year’s Resolution?

Why can’t you set goals at other times of the year and follow through?

Did you know that most people who set a New Year’s Resolution will fail by February?

Why put so much pressure on yourself at the beginning of a New Year?

Instead, you should make small changes throughout the year, and make them often. Any goals should be broken down into smaller increments to help you stay on track.

Any goals set when drunk and feeling euphoric should always be ignored.
