Thanks for reading. I believe the resort was supposed to be taken over by Ramada at some point and they pulled out. Chuck Feeney was no longer financing it either.

Many of the rooms are privately owned, but managed by the resort. I've tried researching more and there are some rooms for sale. Sadly, I can't find much more on why it's become such a failure.
