Do you remember your first iPod and the 99-cent songs that came along with it?

The first Apple iPod was available to buy 21 years ago. At the time it was considered an amazing feat to be able to store 1,000 songs in your pocket. From the year 2001, it wasn’t unusual to see people walking around wearing earbuds listening to their favourite songs, totally oblivious to the world around them.

This Week, Apple Officially Said Goodbye to the Apple iPod

It’s an end of an era that brought portable music to us and inspired the very first iPhone.

Apple assured customers that there will still be music in the world, via the popular iPhone, which was introduced in 2007.
