I’m Challenging Myself to Publish One Story per Day in March
I’m challenging myself to write and publish one story per day in March. Why? I feel like I need to step up my writing game and also, I want to become more disciplined with my writing.
Of course, I had to choose a month with the most days in it!
Ha! Challenge accepted.
In a previous article, I stated that I had more than 300 unfinished stories. That’s crazy, right? But, it’s true. As I peruse my drafts I currently have 90 unpublished stories. Some are just a few words, others I’ve written around 200 words, and surprisingly, I have a couple with more than 500 words!
Then there’s a folder on my desktop with 95 articles in progress, plus another couple of folders in my Dropbox with more than 150 articles.
It’s safe to say I like to write. But, actually, publishing my stories and making them public? That’s a whole other story.
So, I’m challenging myself to put these stories out into the world, at least once a day on Medium. Who knows? Maybe I’ll publish more than one story per day. Hell knows I have plenty sitting there, waiting to be presented to the world.
