I Finally Have Medium’s New Audio Feature!
I’ve been so frustrated, as I’ve been reading that so many already had the audio feature, and I was dying to try it.
I spend a lot of time on my computer and by the end of the day, my eyes are so tired. There are so many stories here that I want to read, but I don’t want to risk a *headouch or eye strain.
You can find the player at the top of the story next to the author's image. Simply click on the little green play icon and you can start listening straight away.
The player will show in the bottom right corner of your screen.
You can choose the type of voice you’d like to listen to by clicking on the person icon, at the bottom left of the player. From there you have a choice of a number of voices. (See image below).
The voice accents are US or UK. Currently, there are only two choices for the UK, one female (Stephanie) and one male (Harry).
Personally, I’d love to see some more accents featured, such as:
- Australian
- New Zealand
